There's alot of street dance moves I've picked up along the way that I do, but I never learned the names for.
In his DVD Stretch displays tons and tons of both rare and common locking, popping, hip hop and house moves and teaches the correct terminology for them. it was really helpful getting the correct names and tighening up my movement vocabulary. I always really respect people that can effortlessly transition between tons of different styles and Stretch is dope at house, hip hop, popping, and locking. The DVD was very well edited and fast paced and included a huge amount of moves, sick solo performances, interviews with dance pioneers and quality history and information. Some of the footage was a little grainy, but that's what you get if you want to see old school dance footage vhs transfers from the 80's and 90's documenting how street dance styles were evolving. If you want to learn more about the birth and evolution of street dance styles and street dance movement terminology or if you just want to see sick dancing from Buddha Stretch the NY Legend, this is a great DVD to get. I feel like I will learn something new from this video every time I watch it.
