Gaining the CCNA certification qualifies you for the following job roles: Cisco network administrator, Cisco entry level help desk.
While not required, we recommend having A+ and Network+ training (or equivalent) before studying for your CCNA.
Cisco provides a single exam or a two exam option for gaining the CCNA certification. We recommend taking the single exam option (640 802) where possible. Passing this exam gives you the CCNA certification, along with the CCENT (introductory networking) certification.

The CCNA certification exam includes performance based questions that require you to complete switch and router configuration or troubleshooting tasks.
